A note from Josh.

I’m Josh, the founder of Giving Voice Agency. I believe in building long-term relationships with my clients — working closely with them to understand the vision and bring it to life online.

The practice exists because most digital marketing plans are not designed for nonprofits. They’re designed for product companies and bent to fit. I started Giving Voice to do the opposite: build a small, senior practice that serves nonprofit organizations exclusively, with proven strategies designed for the rhythm, budget, and obligation of mission-driven work.

If we work together, you’ll work with me directly — from the first email through every deliverable. No account rotations, no junior-swap after the contract is signed.

Why nonprofits only. Most digital marketing plans are designed for for-profit businesses and bent to fit. We serve nonprofits exclusively because the rhythm, the budget, the reporting calendar, and the stakeholders are different enough that specialization matters.

A strategy built for a SaaS company will not help an arts nonprofit with an operating budget under $2M, no matter how many slides it has.

You work with the founder, not a rotating account team. Every deliverable has a senior set of eyes on it before it leaves.

We’re built for long-term client relationships, not one-off projects pushed through a pipeline.

Acquisition is easy to measure. Retention is what keeps an organization alive. Most of our engagements end up being about keeping the donors you already have.

Clarity is a feature.

Every service is named, every deliverable is scoped. You should not have to guess what you’re buying.

Your stories aren’t our marketing.

Donor stories, grant applications, and board discussions are not marketing assets unless you explicitly say so in writing.

Work we don’t take on.

We don’t work with for-profit companies. We don’t take referral fees, software commissions, or sell your data. We don’t use AI-generated content on client campaigns without your explicit approval — and we don’t rely on it for the thinking work.
